Hi yikes,
I'm so sorry to hear about what's happening at home. That must be really hard being stressed at high school as well as back at home. It sounds pretty irresponsible of your brother and mother to let their stuff affect you. It should be just between them, and not involve you at all.
Do you have any friends at school who know what is happening? It can be really helpful just to talk to people sometimes.
While we're on the subject of talking to others, your school will probably have an anonymous counsellor. Do you know who that is and if you can go to them one lunch time or something?
