HI there and welcome to our caring beyond blue forums
it seems you have some anxiety around your school assignments. this can be normal but as long as it doesnt run your life.
there is a thread called 'EEP when studying becomes to much' this has alot of study tips and im sure many others would be able to help you in regards to this question as well.
one of my tips would be to know youve done enough, it might not be the mark you wanted but it was enough and you tried your best.
what grade are you in may i ask?
another is to please remember that while marks are important that arent the end all and be all and there are many ways to get into tafe and university these days including entering through bridgeway courses and also as a mature student meaning 21 and over

Matilda,
Starting new has written you a great post so I won't repeat wat she said.
Ia m wondering if you have high expectations of yourself so get disappointed easily when you don't get the mark you want. You say don't do well, but are you passing but just not the mark you want.
Do you ever compare yourself with others.?
The thread starting new mentioned sounds like a good place to start. I think if you tried your hardest you could ask the teacher how you could improve your assignment,
I used to be a teacher and I like when students would ask about how they could improve. Sometime it can be a simple thing or getting more effective writing or research skills.
Take care. Hope to hear how you are going.
