Not sure if I'm getting depressed

Up until about 8 months ago I was very ready to end it all, that was until I met my boyfriend who let me talk to him about all my problems, he really helped me over come depression. Once we'd been together for a few months, my depression seemed to be gone except for some down moments every now and then which my boyfriend would get frustrated with. I also used to self harm but my boyfriend got so upset about it and even cut himself when he'd seen some recent cuts. It broke my heart and I used all my will to stop doing it and haven't since.
For the past 4 months or so I have been the happiest ive ever been but lately I've started to become sad and
tired and I'm just worried that I might be going back down the road of depression. I'm not sure if I can talk to my boyfriend about it though because he gets kind of angry when I cry or aren't happy. Don't get me wrong, he is absolutely amazing and I love him with all my heart I just dont want him to have to deal with me when I'm like this.
I'm sure it will pass and
I' m just feeling blue but thought I'd vent a little to strangers haha

Hi Mikayla 🙂
To me, it sounds like it is very possible that your heading down that dark road again. From experience, I know for a fact that it only takes the smallest thing to 'flick the switch' to make you depressed again. With the self harm, I strongly recommend getting some professional either from a counsellor (school or other), or calling beyond blue or chatting online to them or another place if the thoughts come back. Try not to over think what may be possible, hang out with your boyfriend and/or friends whenever your feel down and hopefully, you wont need their help because they'll make you feel better. Also, I know this might seem not your style or cliché but try exercising so you can sleep better, after all, healthy body: healthy mind.and watching less TV and not using electronic devices so you can just relax your mind. If the thoughts do keep coming back, get some help from beyond blue etc. if you feel that your bothering your boyfriend. I'm sorry that I cant help much, but I believe that you can fight back the negative thoughts.
