Hello (to anyone who reads this),
I don't know what I'm feeling one minute I'm happy and then the next I'm a sad/ depressed person. Last year I wanted to kill myself, although I don't want to die, I want to escape how I feel and I don't know how to do that.
I wrote this so people know how I'm feeling

I can relate to your feelings as I think a lot of people here can..You are not alone in feeling these things and I'm really sorry to hear this.
Im just wondering if you have spoken to your GP about how your feeling, he/she will be able to help you by getting you onto a mental health care plan, no pressure though only if you want to, I found I couldn't get well by myself, I needed help..Just something you might like to think about.
When I start thinking unhealthy thoughts or feeling trapped I try to distract them by doing something that I like, internet games, reading a book, deep counted breathing. Do you have any interests that you could use to distract yourself at these times?
Im listening to you and will stay with you ( if that's okay) to try to help you through this really rough patch your going through.

Hello Amy,
Yes it's hard to beat that sadness, it's the time spent reading or listening to music that gives our mind a rest from sadness, I agree the sadness come back once we stop our distraction.... A lovely person here on the forums once told me our minds can only have one thought at a time, which means when your reading or listening to music our minds thoughts are on them and off our sadness. Eventually I think the longer we can hold off the sadness the easier it will be to stop them completely.
I like to listen to music only instrumentals then I select a instrument and follow it right through the song..I also do meditation before sleep it seems to hel.
Have you thought about getting professional help with your sadness and depression, sorry if I'm to nosey, just concerned for you..just let me know if I am..
I like the 60/70s music best..Creedence, Eric clepton, black sabbath..lol you've probably not heard of them..I'm not up to date with modern groups..

Hello Grandy,
I know this is going to sound stupid or whatever but I don't like asking for help, I like do things my way if its not my way I don't care. Your not being nosey, this is actually the first time someone has helped me because my friends don't know what it's like to feel tired and sad 24/7, I'm not saying that you're depressed or anything, but I have actually found someone who understands me. I mean this is the first time I'm speaking truthfully about how I feel because even though I don't know who you are and you don't know who I am, I feel like I can trust you more than my own friends and family.
