Dear Amy~
I'm very sorry to hear you are in so much distress. Life is not good for you ATM. I read your other post in the thread
Forums / Suicidal thoughts and self-harm / first thread. 16 severely depressed and have selective mutism.
and really wish you could talk to your parents. Can I ask how you get on with them normally?
While you might not want to scare or worry them they really do need to know both how you feel now with those thoughts of killing yourself and the incident with the teacher. Parents normally love their children above all else and very much want them to be OK and live happy lives.
Trying to bear all this by yourself is terribly hard and it is only sensible ot get some help. Life needs to be a whole lot better for you. How else can your parents look after you if they do not know?
I understand you do not want anyone to get into trouble, but at this stage it is all about your happiness and you feeling secure. Your parents are on your side.
If you realy can't bring yourself talk to your mum or dad what do you think about the Kids Help Line Sophie mentioned? You can phone them on 800 55 1800 or web-chat or email them https://kidshelpline.com.au/
They are very experienced and easy to talk with, it is not difficult once you make the first contact. You can even go back and talk to the same person again if you want.
Can I ask you if the teacher touching you is recent thing or in the past? Whichever it really does need to come out even if upsetting. Sometimes the longer you leave it the harder it can get to talk about it and the more upsetting it makes life become.
We really would like it if you came back and talked some more, we do care about you, you are not alone

Hi amyuiii,
Thank you for your post. I'm so glad that you felt safe enough to post and tell us about what happened at school.
I totally agree with what Croix has said. It's absolutely not okay that he did that. You didn't deserve that and I'm so sorry that it happened to you.
I understand what you're saying about not wanting to get anyone in trouble, but the way I see it - your teacher really needs to get in trouble. It's not okay to touch people, and if he's touched you there is every chance that he has touched other people too. I don't know about you but I'd be really afraid to go back to class in case it happened again, and I'd hate the thought of it happening to someone else too.
I think you have a choice to make about telling your parents. On one hand, your teacher might get in trouble, but on the other hand - he doesn't - which also kind of means he gets away with it and it makes it okay that it happened (which it's totally not).
I hope this helps, we'll be here in anyway that we can be.
