I'm new to beyond blue, and need a space to connect with people my age and going through sorta the same things, here's some things about me!
I'm 12, a year seven in highschool, and a combination type ADHD mind.
"what is combination type ADHD, LKIO?" simple! inattentive and hyperactive, it's a living nightmare in school.
I also have a few other things, since ADHD rarely, if not never, is alone up in our heads. I also have anxiety, depression, and some other things. One of my special interests is Warframe! I main volt, and I have the Amir Gemini skin, and I decided to grind for Nova to get the Kaya Gemini skin!
I hope I can make some friends :3

Hi, welcome
Wow! for 12yo you really know your illness. That isnt so common with adults let alone 12yo's. So well done with your knowledge.
Like you I have a mixture ... bipolar, autism, depression, dysthymia ( a constant depression). At 69yo I dont know what the things like Warframe is etc. So forgive me.
Two things I'd like to mention.
1/ This forum isnt the sort of venue that has "friendships" or ability to connect on a personal basis. So meeting potential friends isnt possible because we are all anonymous. An ongoing conversation is possible but has limitations that wouldnt suit your objective. There could be facebook sites that cater for that and that would be encouraging as it can extend your knowledge and better still, you'd help others to extend their with your vast information you have.
2/ As you age you might focus on what natural abilities you have, these abilities are often unique to those with MI. Eg I like writing poetry (we have a poets corner here just use search if it interests you) but if you google "famous people with a mental illness" you'll be amazed at how many have quirky abilities- like adventurers, entertainers, politicians (Churchill had depression and called it "the black dog". IMO its a fabulous side effect to what people only believe is a illness that is all negative. It's far from it. Some of us have a genius side.!! The best movie that depicted this is "rainman".
By all means post away anytime you have a question about your illness, its effect on your life, schooling, relationships and so on. We have a good library here just use search feature. You'll have many challenges I'm sure so that's why we are here, to help you thread your way through life as easily as possible.
I just had a look on Facebook. Try ADHD support Australia. inattentive ADHD Australia support page
