Depressed4life, the friends that you pushed away, are those relationships reparable? What did you do to push them away?
The toxic friends, they are not good to have because by the sound of it, you have enough battles with your own depression and anxiety without having to worry about toxic relationships.
Have you been diagnosed with depression and anxiety?
Have you got a mental health plan?
I would love for you to start practicing mindfulness. When I was hospitalised with PTSD, depression and anxiety four years ago, I had a lesson in mindfulness and have practiced it since. I can say that it works and is a great way to calm yourself down. Try the app "Smiling Mind", its guided and is of great assistance.
I would also love for you to change your name. By having a name that can be perceived as being negative, you may be subconsciously holding yourself back. You are essentially saying that you will never recover. You are so young and have so much life to live. There is always hope and i can guarantee you that you are not alone in your journey.
Hope to hear back from you as see if we can't get you moving forward!
Mark.

Hey Depressed4life,
Thanks for your post.
I don't usually say much about usernames but yours makes me really sad; who is depressed for life? The average lifespan here in Aus is around 70-80 years old - and even though there's no 'cure' for depression it's pretty damn unlikely that someone will be 'depressed for life'. Your life can change.
I am sorry that you're struggling at school. It can be a rough time for a lot of people and you're not alone.
When I read your post I tried to think of what it was like for me at school, being a loner and hanging around toxic people. For me personally, I'd rather be alone than hang around people that I thought were toxic. If I'm alone I may feel lonely sometimes - but I can still keep busy maybe at the library or talking to teachers so it's not always bad, where if I'm with toxic people, I generally always feel crap.
Why are these people you're hanging out with toxic? What are they doing that makes you feel this way?
