Hello Maryyyy
Welcome to the forums and good on you for posting too
No one should feel isolated no matter what the reason. If I could foresee anything in the future and it was compromising my day to day well being I would see my doctor with having a double appointment and have a really good chat.
What other people think of us can be a pain but best ignored, even though that takes practice.
I still see my doc every month for a fine tune. You would have everything to gain by doing so Mary. Feeling isolated is the last thing you need whether on a gap year or not
my kind thoughts

Hi Maryyy,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for being here.
I think that there are maybe two ways to go about this.
1. You can talk to your GP, just like Paul / blondguy said. Seeing these things in the future and being called names is not helping you and getting in the way of your life.
2. You can look at this from a different light. Knowing that the Paris terror attacks are coming isn't going to change the fact that they're coming. Sadly we can't dial Paris for a heads-up, so the best case scenario is to accept that it is happening and to go about your day. Even if you were to call Paris (and I don't know how) there is no logical way to stop this from happening. I think that the more you focus on it the harder that it will be. There are people who believe that they see the future and they still go about their day just as if they didn't.
I think the big takeaway from this is finding a way so this doesn't have to disturb your day. Feeling like you're going insane and being called 'literally hitler' is terrifying and awful, and you shouldn't have to experience that. So for this reason I encourage you to talk to your GP or a psychologist to get some support.

Hi Maryyy
It's great you've come here to share your experiences.
I have had feelings where I sense things about people without them telling me or before they even know themselves. This can be in dreams or just a general intuition when I see them.
I'm correct most of them time but find when I express these things people do think I'm 'mad'.
So I basically don't say anything anymore. Even though I sense these things I can't change them, and telling the person doesn't change the path that occurs either.
So the moral here, is that you need to push it aside as just a thought and don't get wrapped into it.
When socialising don't just talk about this stuff as people will think you're weird. This goes for anyone really that talks about the same topic repeatedly to others, it gets old and boring. Try to focus on other things.
Failing that, if you find you can't control these thoughts or have the ability to talk of other things, then I'd definitely see the GP about it. There could be other underlying issues at play here that need investigating.
