Highschool- relationships and sexualities

Ok so this is my very first post and I just wanted to vent. I’m in Year 9 at school at the moment and recently have been thinking about relationships and my sexuality as I’m getting older and more people are becoming appealing. But the thing is I’m bisexual and have known I have been since I was 11. No one knows this and I’m thinking about coming out but I’m scared to because although my school has a LGBTQ club lots of people make mean jokes about being gay etc. Most kids just don’t understand. And then there’s actual dating. I want to date girls and boys but I’m scared I have liked a few people, that have also liked me, but put up a wall. Also I have had people tell me that people that label themselves as bisexual or whatever at my age are just confused. I just don’t really know what to do. I’m not sure if I will be accepted by my family and friends. Feel free to share your opinion on this, anything helps.

Don't take it to heart if people tell you that you are confused or going through a phase. It's actually true that people experiment when young, and try out different things. However some people know exactly where they stand when very young. This issue may come up a bit, but don't worry too much about trying to respond to it. Time is on your side here. You can wait the doubters out!

Stormcloudz is absolutely right (both here and in your other thread ... I will join you there if you'd like to stick with that one).

Please don't feel pressured to come out at a particular time, this is all about you, and making it as easy as possible, as it often has speedbumps.

I didn't come out until after school (I am lesbian), and this made things much easier for me (but I was at a very conservative school).

Stormcloudz has said everything beautifully (as always 😊) & my battery has nearly gone, but wanted to quickly pop by so you're on my list of threads.
