Hi Klojo99,
Welcome to beyondblue. You can talk to us any time about what you are going through. Anxiety sucks. I have PTSD and GAD so I'm familiar with the symptoms. Sometimes I find myself worrying about things too much, without even realising that I was worrying. Sometimes, things that maybe shouldn't bother me, do. Beyondblue is by and large a great community though (99.9%?) with a lot of empathy for others struggling with the journey of life.
If you feel like you can't handle the anxiety on your own, why don't you go see your GP about some help to manage it? A GP can put you on a mental health care plan to receive some free sessions with a psychologist, or prescribe you some medication to try to see if that helps. I highly recommend checking in - I went without meds for a long time but I'm glad I am on them now, I'm not sure how I could cope if I wasn't and I'm reminded how bad it could be when I don't take as much as I possibly should (I am on a combination of a few different things, some daily and some for 'breakthrough' anxiety) and then something relatively minor happens that triggers it all... I really recommend a chat with the doc.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are going with it.

Hi Klojo99,
Good on your for posting and seek out the help. It really is a great first step and one that is not easy to take.
I suffer from bad anxiety as well, have for the better part of 10 years so i know exactly how you are feeling. I used to not be able to stay home alone, or even drive around by myself without calling someone on the phone purely because I just couldn't stand to be alone with my thoughts. These forums helped me immensly, and I encourage you to talk a bit more about your story when you're ready and if you want too. I started seeing a psychologist who has helped me greatly with my anxiety and just getting my story out and helping me understand my anxiety. Lazykh had some great points, I just wanted to reach out and let you know i heard you and you are welcome to talk and post back as much as you like and I will always try and respond to help in any way I can, you are not alone in this journey to recovery from anxiety.
My best for you,
Jay
