Hi guy's recently i've been dealing with severe anxiety and am getting bad suicidal thoughts, I have been panicking about my health very irrationally, but it is affected everything in my life, i haven't been eating for 2 days, i am scared to just accept its just my anxiety, I've also been incredibly depressed lately, after seeing my crush get badly injured and me being not able to help tipped me over the edge, i also have forgotten to take my medication for 3 days and it is badly affecting my anxiety levels.
I have beein thinking about suicide and i recently started self harming, i need some advice or anyone who can relate, i' ve just been crying constantly. I am a 16 male and am on 2 medications. It would be great if someone could help me out or relate to what i'm going through.

Hiya. I'm sorry you are going through such an awful time. I understand your suffering as I have been where you are- thinking such thoughts. Please give BeyomdBlue a call ASAP as they can get the ball rolling for some urgent help for you. Also please make sure you have a doctor you trust and that you see them at least weekly while you are suffering so acutely. This is REALLY important as they can monitor your mood, adjust your medication if necessary, and link you in to therapists (you can get 10 sessions with a therapist for free or very cheap so please don't be worried about cost). There are also urgent help teams that both BeyondBlue and your doctor can link you up to that can get you help ASAP. So please call your doctor when You read this and get an appointment before Christmas. Everything shuts down at Christmas- make sure you've got the help in place for the Christmas break.
Moyes I have certainly been where you are. I always think of depression like the Dementors in Harry Potter- they suck all the joy and happiness out of you until you're left with nothing but bad, fearful, awful thoughts- just like depression. But the dementors, just like depression, can be beaten. The way to beat it is hope, love and healthy thoughts. A therapist can teach you how to change your negative fearful anxious thoughts into more realistic hopeful thoughts. They can also teach you coping skils.
medication is very helpful but it rarely works alone- it fixes chemical imbalances, but you really need theraoy to overcome the unhelpful damaging thoughts and lack of coping skills, to really overcome depression.
for now, please ring beyondblue, and please put in place things to keep you safe for the weekend and until you see a doctor (and afterwards). Stay with family or friends (you're 16 so chances are you already live at home). Of you really feel you can't tell your parents, please think of an adult relative (maybe an uncle or aunt) you can tell so they can check in and keep an eye on you.
these thoughts you're having are very distressing and very scary so those people are really important to keep you safe until you get help.
as always, ring 000 or go to emergency If you feel you will hurt yourself.
please have hope: this is only for NOW. Ajxiety and depression will get better with the right treatment. I know this because *i* have been where you are and now Im happy, well, stable, not sick anymore. Have hope my friend, it will get better!
