Hi all, it's been a while since I've been on the forum.
I feel like I may have messed up, made a mistake and possibly lied to people.
I don't have any mental illness, depression or anything like that.
I came to the forums after my school life caused me to have major self-esteem and anxiety issues, it left me feeling very sad and lonely so I just needed a place to let it all out. Which lead me here.
I feel like the major problem with me is that I just act to eccentric and weird for people to get a long with so I'm very socially isolated and lonely.
I'm sorry if I seemed to exaggerate,

Hi Liam, good to hear form you again
You havent accepted yourself for being you have you?
Do you assume everyone fits into a certain narrow space of 'normal'? If so, we'd all drive white cars, only eat bland foods and be like robots.
Being slightly essentric is in my view more desirable. You are a personality out of the square. It will mean you dont fit in with groups but isnt that their problem?
Finally, you dont need to apologise for "seeming to exaggerate". You got yuor expression into words exactly. You seem to lack confidence. Look into the mirror and you should see a guy named Liam, an individual, not a clone, not a sheep, not one of the mob..... This guy called Liam could well be "weird" but weird people have discovered the world, invented machines, developed cures for diseases.
I'd rather be weird and therefore interesting than a bland robot.

dear Liam, I'm so pleased that you decided to come back to the site, and this can happen when there is nothing wrong with you or as in your case you're not feeling the best although you're not depressed, so that's a positive for you.
I'm sure most of my friends call me eccentric, stupid or queer in some of things I do, but that's me, even my twin will say to me 'you didn't do that did you'.
There is no need to apologise for anything here, but you seem as though your self esteem and perhaps social anxiety is still causing you trouble.
Your feeling of being 'eccentric and weird' is only your interruption of yourself, OK let's face it we all do this, but with me they either take it or leave it, and what they think is only up to them, it won't change me and I don't want to change, because I find it as having some fun.
Can I give you an example, when I was at a family function my niece was pregnant, and it's always proper just to ask how the pregnancy is going, but rather than that I put my hand on her baby and said 'it's just kicked me', what was said didn't worry me, it was too late I had done it.
People either take you the way you are or they don't, but it doesn't stop me from still doing what I would normally do, nor it should you. Geoff.

It's not so much what I say but my overall personality.
There are times where I come across as a little to happy and excited. Fictional media is of great importance to me and my dream career so I'm very artistic and theatrical when talking at times (Eg if talking about driving car I will do the motion of steering with my hands) .
I have weird hobbies for a young high school student, the thing I'm most looking forward to at the moment is putting on a silly costume and performing a play to entertain the elderly at a retirement center. I draw pictures to make miniatures cardboard cut-outs like you find at movie theater.
I don't have any real skills, I can't tell you anything about maths, science or offer intelligent opinions on politics but I can tell you all about The History of James Bond, obscure 80s movies and give you my opinion on various movies
I feel like part of the reason I feel so alone is because I drive people away with being too weird tog get alone. Sure they're kids who like Drama but I don't feel like I even fit in with them.
Seems like I went off a bit there, but that explains the type of person I am. I don't feel like the typical teen. I see educational videos talking about what a teen might feel and do in his life....and none of them describe me at all.
When school finishes for me this year, I don't want to go to the formal, graduation assembly or even our final "muck up week"
I'm just really sad and confused. I don't really talk to people much on the weekends. I feel like I'm a terrible person who contributes nothing 😞

Liam
Please read my response above again.
And, hear this. Many years ago I took my 250 poems and read them in front of 2 dozen residents at and aged care facility. Throughout the read not one responded. It was torture for me. Even my funny poems didnt get a laugh.
I walked out and one lady followed me. She said "thankyou so much for your loems. That one about our Anzac soldiers (she began to cry) was wonderful. My husband fought in ww2.
That's what essentric people do. They seek out that one smile, a wink...they wait for that one person in a crowded room to respond positively.
if only you could see your worth? No video can describe you because you are you and nobody else.
