So for probably around 10 months, from time to time I've had these moments that come from nowhere. My heart starts really pumping from nothing, I get really sweaty and I can't think straight. I always feel like something bad is about to happen
Today I had one to the point where I had to get up and get outside for some fresh air.
Does anyone else experience this? If so how often and how to you deal with it

Hey'a Guest_519
I find that when I feel that way I'm just hungry! But if I am dealing with a bit of stress fresh air and some mindfulness techniques always get me through.
It sounds like anxiety alright! But is anything you know of triggering it? Does it just happen? or does a certain place, person or thing set it off? It could be a lot of things or something purely innocuous , so I must implore you go to the doctors (I'm a student nurse). The doctor might run a few tests to check your blood for a few things.
Hope it all goes well! 🙂

Hey Guest_519, welcome to the forums and thank you for sharing with us 🙂
He symptoms you've described are commonly associated with anxiety and panic attacks, but I'd definately make a trip to your GP for a professional diagnosis, as there is an off chance it could be something else.
There are lots of resources here on the website to help manage your anxiety, but the two main tips I can give you are to work on your breathing; whenever you start to feel anxious, breath in for 10 seconds and breath out for 10, and repeat. I also encourage you to try and take note of what kinds of things trigger your anxiety, and see if you can work around those triggers, for example, if you know social situations make you anxious, perhaps bring a trusted friend, or make sure there is somewhere you can go to relax and have a breather.
