Dear DedicatedToHealth,
Welcome to these forums and thank you for sharing your story with all of us here.
I really hope that you will find comfort here and reassurance that you are not alone. These forums are great, seeing that so many people are here to support each others through hard times really has restored my faith in humanity!
Please post anytime you feel the need to.
All the best

Hello DedicatedToHealth, and hi to you also Dorothy1.
Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling, I hope things get better for you.
I'm glad you discovered BB and joined the forums, that in itself takes a lot of courage and is a big step even if it doesn't seem like it so well done, I'm proud of you.
You're safe here. If you have any questions or would just like someone to talk or listen, I'm always here. Best of luck with everything, I hope you enjoy your time here. It's a friendly, supportive, non judgemental place and there's also happy threads too.
Take care, hope to hear from you.
Tayla

I also would like to thank DedicatedToHealth for posting about gratitude, it is one of the really important lessons that I continue to use to help with my anxiety.
My experience has been that trying to feel grateful is different from expressing gratitude for help, support kindness and connections etc
When I’m having good days being grateful means so much more
Thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone and that we all have a platform to share our experiences and together we have strength to move forward, one day at a time
I am ok just for today

Tayla - yes, a lot of courage to ask for help, that sums me up. I have battled on too long trying to get help until I arrived at BB. When I cry tears of loneliness and the anxiety takes over, I wondered if I would ever have people to share my struggles. The brave face every one expects of me has not served me well.
your kind words and those of others here have given me a sense of hope.
today, through BB, I received acceptance, kindness and support.
Thank you all very much. I am very fortunate indeed.
