Hi,
I just really Needed to post and say I’m having lots of uncontrollable thoughts making me feel really anxious and sick. Hoping to just get some advice. It comes and goes but when it’s present I feel really upset and debilitated.
thanks

Hell Sunny33, welcome to the BB forums.
I'm not a qualified doctor but allowed to reply, simply because I along with many other people also suffer from this and these uncontrollable thoughts come from anxiety and are known as 'intrusive thoughts'.
I have them because I have OCD and may often come frequently and can cause distress since the nature of the thought might be upsetting and make the thought more concerning and come from nowhere.
If you type in 'intrusive thoughts' in your search browser a large file will appear where discussions on this topic maybe of some interest to you.
Can I ask if you are seeing anybody about this, as psychologists will be able to help you, never the less it would be great to hear back from you.
Take care.
Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
Thank you for your reply, can’t tell you how appreciated it is. I’m sorry to hear you are suffering too but glad you know you are not alone.
I will look into that now. And I’m not seeing anyone but have been contemplating it lately. I just haven’t been this anxious in a long time and it’s really catching me off guard
thanks
