Dear Black dog black~

Life can be very unkind and hand out unfair burdens, with no easy way of making things better. Having depression and anxiety are bad enough by themselves without the limitations of a spinal injury and constant pain. Plus panic attacks are the pits.

I guess trying to deal with your back is one thing, I know you are on pain-killers, actually I am too for a similar problem, though I'm lucky enough to only need the realy strong ones now and again. Can you do exercises? I can get out, though can't walk that far. You said you don't get out much, but it is the anxiety and panic attack stopping you.

In a way that is good, which might seem a funny thing to say, however those two can be coped with, allowing you a better life. I may sound unrealistically confident to you, but I've improved out of sight. It took time, meds, therapy and a lifestyle that took these illnesses into account, but tried not to let them rule.

Are you facing all this alone, or do you have anyone to care and talk with? I had a partner and it made a big difference.

I am not trying to make your problems seem small, just trying to let you know there is hope

Hello Black dog black, thanks for joining the forums and I also know what it feels like after having a car accident but it's not me who has posted it's you.

Car accidents not only cause physical injuries but also lead to emotional trauma with the possibility of also N

Along with this, you may have negative emotions and these will prevent you from being able to get any better along with the problem from your back.

The physio I had was swimming, it's weightless so you are able to move your joints but I would some direction on the best exercises to do with your physio.

There is also the spa to hope into.

If the accident happened in Victoria then TAC should cover these costs and I'm sure all the other States would follow suit.

Hope to hear back from you.

Geoff.
