Hello Chrissie, thanks for posting your comment.
Even just a little effort to go to the gym or do pilates is better than none at all because a
Your friends could come back or you might be able to meet new people who are interested in doing exactly the same as what you want to do, it takes time and it certainly takes your strength to be able to completely stop your addiction.
I have to give you credit for making this decision and know it wasn't an easy one, but the people who used weed and you associated with are best to keep away from, their temptation may encourage you in times when you feel you aren't coping.
It may be a good idea to go and see your doctor who may decide that an antidepressant (AD) is suitable.
I hope someone can help with your menopause.
I think you're showing a great deal of courage and certainly strength and please let us know how you are getting on.
Geoff.

Hello Chrissie
Well done to you for posting here and for wanting to kick your cannabis addiction. In my mind, making that decision can often be the hardest part.
Not to make this about me, but I can relate to alot things you said. I'm 45, never married nor had kids. I struggle to make real connections i think because of this ..I've had clinical depression for 10yrs now......and I too have just become 'peri menopausal'! Although I'm relatively new here, this forum has helped me so much. Everyone here is so understanding non-judgemental and have empathy. I hope you will keep posting here Chrissie. In the meantime, hang in there and keep looking after you.
Hope to talk soon.
Lee
