Hi Serenna,
I'm new too. My first day, I'm trying to deal with anxiety issues, I've never spoken to anyone about them before.
It feels a bit alien, but I put my first post up about 4 hours ago. Already I've received some really kind words, it felt good, I'm glad I took the step.
Really great to hear your passed your cancer issues, which probably means you're already an incredibly strong person. Hopefully this forum will give us both a chance to air some stuff we probably wouldn't normally say.
Happy New Year Serenna, keep in touch.
Pete

Hi Serenna and metoo and welcome to the BB forums and to the community
We are all lovely people here on the forums. We are all here to support each other. Fellow forum users are just like you, many have a mental illness or are carers of those with a mental illness. Other than dr kim none of us are professionals so please don't take fellow users advice over professional advice.
I'm really glad you have joined the forums and I hope you can get the support you need and pay it forward 🙂

It's good to know that your cancer battle is over, but yu will need to get having checks to make sure it hasn't returned, I only say this for your own safety and piece of mind.
This site is full of what people have had to go through themselves, and
Great for the two of you to join us. Geoff.
