I have trust issues so I tend to avoid doctors and talking to people about most things

Dear Mr Magoo

Hello and welcome to the forum. Love the name and I enjoyed the Mr Magoo cartoons.

When you write on the Beyond Blue forum there is no need to worry about being safe. No one knows you or anything about you so you can write what you wish and ask as many questions as you need.

May I suggest you look at the Depression forum and also the anxiety forum. You can read how others have their good and bad times and the answers they receive. Perhaps you would like to join in one or more of the conversations. Just click the reply button at the end of the last post and start writing. We all have our mental health issues and understanding how life can get out of control at times.

If you would like to start a thread of your own then go to the forum you want to write in and do the same as you did here, click the new post button. I hope you will find lots to do here and get suggestions to help with your needs.

Mary

Mr magoo,

Welcome to this forum. This is a friendly, supportive, caring and non judgmental place to to talk about what is on your mind.

Depression and anxiety are very stressful . You say you avoid doctors have you ever spoken to a doctor? What ever you say is confidential .

You are most welcome to post here and if you feel like it tell us a little more about yourself.

Thanks again for making your first post.

Hello Mr Magoo,

Welcome to the forum - I hope you find it helpful.

I agree that it can really be hard to talk to others, especially about the tough stuff. Mental illness symptoms certainly do not help either.

I hope you feel like this environment will give you the chance to open up and seek help whenever you need. Everybody here seems so supportive and practical in their suggestions I cannot help finding it useful and enjoyable to participate.

I agree with what White Rose and quirkywords have written. You mind find it gets easier to open up after you get used to the group and see what other people are also going through. There are a lot of people on the forums you may find that you can relate you.

Good luck in seeking further help and guidance with your symptoms. I'm sure everybody here will help you as much as they can.

JG.

Thankyou Mary,Quirky and JG for your kind words.I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the forum.

Mark

Hello Mr Magoo,

Welcome back. Sorry to hear that things have become more harder for you.

Is there anything you would like to talk about more (only if you feel like sharing)? We can start with -

What activities do you enjoy that makes you feel good?

What positive changes would you like to see happen in your life?

You are not alone, we are all here to listen and support you always...

Take care
