The past few months i've felt a little off, i tend to overthink and over analyze my everyday life. Had some really bad days in a row, so i went to the gp, he said i seem anxious and a little stressed told me to look for social groups and continue with my exercise and speak to family and ask for help. But i haven't so far, i guess its a little hard to admit i need the help in a way. I know that medication is an option but i dont know if i want to take medication, but with how i am feeling and taking things out on my partner, family and kids i don't know if no medication is an option. I'm doing my best to be positive and doing what i can to get back to my old self but its harder then i thought.
I just feel like at any moment, my life is going to crumble and fall apart and I feel helpless. Honestly i feel silly even posting this, i have so much to be grateful for and i just don't feel that at all.

Hello Ani, can I welcome you to the site.
It's good for your doctor to suggest looking for social groups and continue with exercise but if you're stressed this may not be so easy as there could be days when you say to yourself that this isn't what you want to do, however, if you were to try taking medication it might get you over this hurdle.
It doesn't mean you have to continue on with it, but it could indicate it will help you in a positive way and then you might be happy to associate socially and be in the mood to exercise.
Just something for you to have a think about.
Best wishes.
Geoff.

Hi Anni,
Welcome to the forum. My suggestion would be to go back to your go.Tell them you are not coping and need to be referred to a psychologist.
Medication may be an option,a psychologist can work with your gp on this.Never feel silly-everyone needs help at sometime!
You have taken a positive step in recognizing you have an issue. Go you!!!
The next step as I see it is ,going back to gp,Tell them you need more than family and push for a mental health check.
This is a free service provided through Medicare. You should be able to get 10 free visits to a psychologist.
You deserve to look after you. Push for what you need.Got your back if you need to vent xx

Hi Ani, don't be too hard on yourself and you shouldn't feel silly for posting 😀 sounds like you certainly need to take some time out for yourself - I know it's hard when you're a full time mommy but remember it will benefit everyone around you! Sometimes as mom's we get so caught up with meeting everyone else's needs we forget about ourselves and feel a little lost. You have taken some really positive steps so far and it's great that you're trying to stay positive.
Wishing you all the best and sending white light and positive energies your way.
You're doing great!
Kind regards
