Hi May1986
Welcome to Beyond Blue and it is wonderful that you have come to chat about how you are feeling. This might sound strange but the strength and the courage that you would have had to find to hand your daughter over to another for her best interest would have been enormous. Putting her welfare and what is best for her ahead of your own feelings and love for her I am sure would have been one of the hardest things you have had to do in your life, would I be right in saying that? I am most certainly not surprised that you are feeling so lost and so overwhelmed.
Are you able to visit your daughter and still be apart of her life or have you kept some space between you?
I am so proud of you for reaching out here today and we are here for you, to support you at this time and to listen and hear you. Please know this is a safe place to do that and to share as much as you feel you would like to, no one here is judging or criticizing.
I tried to have a look to see if there are some support groups available for this type of situation, do you think that could be something that you would consider in joining?
Huge hugs to you May1986, we are here for you.
