Hi, my name is Christine, I have been suffering with depression and anxiety since April this year. I also suffer from panic attacks . I am taking medication and seeing a psychologist. When I have to leave the house I suffer with anxiety diarrhea. This has become very debilitating. I am wondering if anyone else suffers from this condition and what Strategies they use to stop it from happening.

Hi Christine, welcome to the forums. It must be frustrating to still experience such a debilitating symptom even after seeking professional supports. Have you disclosed this symptom to your psychologist or health professional? It’s very common for people with anxiety to experience physical symptoms such as diarrhea and stomach aches - it can be helpful to work through with your psychologist strategies that involve identifying what’s triggers these physical manifestations of anxiety and how you can plan for when you need to leave the house. I'd suggest checking out the anxiety section here in the meantime for some tips and strategies that have worked for others. The following threads may be of interest to you:
