Hey guys I'm Jess. I'm 32 and from Melbourne Vic. I'm feeling really stuck at the moment in life. Like I'm trying to dig my way out of quick sand, but the more o dig, the deeper I get.

I can't seem to get out. I'm depressed. I'm always tired. I don't want to do anything because I'm so unmotivated. My health is terrible. (I'm a diabetic) I can't seem to move forward

hello and welcome.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. It takes a lot of strength to reach out, and I appreciate your openness. It's important to prioritize your well-being.

Could you perhaps share a little more about your story? I don't want to suggest anything such as talking to a professional if that is something you are already doing. This is not something you have to face this alone. Take small steps, and reach out to those around you.

Thank you for your reply! I am not currently seeing a professional but am in the process. I have had alot going on this year. My grandfather passing away and now my mother in law just had a sudden leg amputation. I am also finding a new job aswel and my physical health is suffering alot right now. I am immunocompromised so I feel like I am always sick. I'm just really stuck and I don't know how to move forward or get out of this slump! I'm trying to take things slow but I feel I am getting no where. I am always tired and just so unmotivated

Hi Jess,

You really are dealing with a lot, I am sorry for your loss of your grandfather and that you are feeling so stuck.

You said you are in the process of seeing a professional, have you also had your GP run any blood tests to see if there may be a deficiency contributing to the fatigue that could be addressed? eg. Iron or B12.

The pit can be very difficult to get out of, I have been there as have many others here on the forums. Getting some professional help is a good start to finding the way out.

We will be here for you if you would like to continue this conversation.

Take care,

indigo

It's understandable to feel stuck and unmotivated given the circumstances. It sounds like there is a lot on your plate at the moment that you have deal with. Taking things slow is a valid approach, and progress may not always be immediately apparent. It's important to acknowledge the weight of what you're going through and be patient with yourself.

Are you able to reach out to friends or family for support during this challenging time? Surrounding yourself with a support system can make a significant difference. I I hope the journey to professional help is successful for you - hopefully they can provide guidance tailored to your unique situation.

Take care.
