Hi, I'm Regulus.
I'm a mid 30s female who has been living with Depression, Anxiety, BPD and Complex Trauma for a long time. I chose to enter this forum today because I could use some people with similar experiences in my life. The times my health is worst I'm in hospital, but it's where I feel most at home and accepted. I'm an introvert, so am not really struggling with isolation, except for missing the occasional hug and coffee.

Hello Regulus,
It is nice to meet you here.
I have also lived with depression in the past and I still exhibit a number of BPD criteria, but probably not enough to qualify for a proper diagnosis anymore. I understand what you mean by feeling most at home and accepted in hospital - I genuinely really enjoyed being in hospital even though it was the worst I had felt.
I am glad you are finding it generally not too bad being in isolation. We are also not social butterflies and we have pets to keep us busy at home.
You mentioned that you actively chose to register onto the forum today because you wanted to meet some people with similar experiences. Was there anything in particular you wanted to talk about or ask? I'd love to hear more about you and I am sure there are many on the forum who have had related experiences to you.
James
