Introducing myself.

I'd keep this short & sweet. Hi, I am Tyler, 21 years of age. I've decided to join up with Beyond Blue because of the experiences I have witnessed during my short life. I am someone who has gone through the bullying phase growing up & witnessed first hand racism from outside and within my circle & have dealt with the aftermath of suicide from friends & family, etc which has left me traumatised and have tried hurting myself multiple times which has left me depressed, but my goal joining Beyond Blue is to provide support & advise as I have been fighting for more awareness and pushing for more support. Like you, I have gone through hell and back but like you I survived. We're survivors, and couldn't be more proud of you.

hello and welcome.

It sounds as though you have experienced a lot in your life so far. We are all on our own journeys here, with the support of like-minded people taking a similar journey. You mentioned you have survived so guessing you have put a lot of hard work into yourself.  Well done on that. Can I ask you how you are going at the moment?

Hello Tyler, a warm welcome to the forums.

The experience each one of us has to go through can affect all of us in a different way, all in various degrees and it's only once we have part overcome them or have now seen the light, that we realise how devastating this journey has been, that now compells us to help as many people as we can.

The trauma and what you have had to encounter yourself will be of great benefit to many people.

Welcome to the forum. I can't imagine how hard it was for you, and how much efforts you did to fight your challenge. Obviously you're super brave and resilient.

We're here to support each other, your lived experience will be inspiring for many of us for sure. And keep taking care of yourself and asking for advice if you need as well.

Hi Wolf,

Thank for your comment, I am actually well at the moment. I've kept myself busy with working, and have been great mentally. Been on bit of a journey in the last few years, and have put a hard work in myself physically and mentally, and I've felt amazing, especially with supporting and giving advice to others on their own self journey.
