Hi, I'm not sure how to introduce myself but I'll give it a try.
I'm DefiantBridge. I am recently diagnosed with anxiety but now I am on medication. I feel I lack consistency and stability. I'm looking for friends who can guide me and be supportive.
Thanks.

New here also... "Hi"
I also suffer extreme anxiety, along side a joyous list of other things. Medicated but still trying to manage best one can with whats offered/given to assist with all the above probs.
What do you currently do to assist with the anxiety, besides meds? I have my pets that keep me sane, also art and musical instruments... and a punching bag haha.
Hows are you coping since being medicated?
I feel too that I am always lacking consistency and stability... but then I wonder what it is I am trying to relate it to exactly?! As I think thats just me, as I am always. That may just be YOUR/My kind of "normality"... If that makes any sense... surving best one can with what one has, so to speak.
How long have you suffered with anxiety?

Hello DefiantBridge, consistency refers to similar behaviour in similar situations, while stability is to focus on the positive aspects of a relationship or with yourself, and able to have the strength to find a way to move on if they become upset or annoyed by communicating, commitment and settling any difference by making concessions.
A stable routine gives your life structure and makes you feel in control, however, with both or either of these, it's possible that something may break this and block us from feeling comfortable and mental illness can certainly be one major cause.
There is not a one‐size‐fits‐all approach, as engagement with them occurs in the person's personality and definitely the circumstances including how they are struggling and other life experiences that can help them to overcome this situation.
Being able to rebuild some acceptance and understanding in mental health isn’t the absence of mental health problems, it's the presence of positive individual qualities that you believe you have and capable to reestablish with confidence.
Once you can believe in this, that's the grassroots you need to start helping yourself.
Best wishes.
Geoff.
