Hi, welcome
I understand. I have bipolar 2, depression and so on.
You didn't day if its bipolar 1or 2. Big difference between them.
There are also some positives in some cases like creativity and artistic talent in many of us.

My wife finds my mood swings tough even though I'm on mood stabilizers they aren't the be all and end all remedy but merely a part of the answer.
A trip to your GP could be beneficial.

No one has said if it is type 1 or 2. He sees psychologist etc once or twice and then wont go back. He wants me to help but then i get in trouble for controlling him. I dont know what to do.

Hi Simba
You can't force him.
I have one idea. Go to counselling yourself. It won't do harm. But don't give him details. If he asks tell him you are going counselling to learn to cope with his moods and say no more.
After a while ask him to join you.
He should learn to take on his own responsibilities.
