Hi. I'm new & trying something different - talking to others :)

Hi everyone. I'm Tash and I'm new to the whole 'reaching out to others' thing. Just thought I'd try to become a part of something to help me feel less alone. I'm thinking it might be helpful talking to others who are also struggling wih mental illness and what better place than the internet...(cue Jaws music).

Anyways, I look forward to getting involved in this community and hearing your stories and hopefully have the courage to share some of mine. 🙂

Hi Tash and welcome to the caring and supportive community which is Beyondblue forums.

I see that you have already started to post on other threads .. well done. You are welcome to post anywhere of course.

You havent told us a lot about yourself, but perhaps in time you will gain the courage to share a little more with us. Remember that the forums are moderated to ensure your anonymity and safety. So it is safe to open up if you choose to. But only as much as you're comfortable with.

Like you, I'm not great at the 'reaching out' thing, but the members here will make you feel right at home and at ease in no time.

I look forward to hearing more from you in due course, as well as seeing you on other threads.

Welcome Tash,

I haven't been here long either, however, everyone is pretty fast to reply. Sometimes Beyond Blue holds back replies for a couple hours to make sure everything is ok with the post.

Have a look around the different types of forums.
