Hello Overwhelmed_Laura, this is not a particularly pleasant environment for you as you have already said, and to remain in this situation is not helping you with your health.

Can I ask if his name is involved in the business, but a suggestion is Anglicare can put and your dogs into a house/unit until it settles down and until eventually you can find a place for yourself.

This would require a separation, but would dearly love to hear back from you.

Hi Laura,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through this difficult situation. It must be very hard for you. But you are not alone and there are resources available to support you.

You can ring Beyond Blue hotline (1300 224 636) for 24/7 free consultation and resources referral.

If you think it's domestic violence, physically or emotionally, you can:

1. Document any abuse or harassment you experience.

2. Reach out National Domestic Hotline for help and shelter: 1800 737 732.

3. Consider seeking legal advice from a lawyer or legal aid organisation. For example, Women’s Legal Service VIC:Women’s Legal Service Victoria | (womenslegal.org.au). NSW: WLS NSW - Women's Legal Service NSW.

4. Regarding your pet, you can contact RSPCA for help. RSPCA’s Community Domestic Violence program provides temporary foster accommodation and/or emergency pet boarding, financial assistance for veterinary treatment, impound fees and transport fees. They also provide short-term and emergency housing and care for your pet while you find a safe place to stay. You can contact RSPCA Community Programs helpline at (02) 9782 4408.

Hope it helps a bit and everything will be better.
