Hello everyone,
I joined beyond blue to connect with other people suffering from the same types of things as me.
I'm 19, and I suffer from symptoms and characteristics that would include the diagnosis of anxiety, depression and OCD and possibly ADHD. I'm currently living in a sort of limbo, with no motivation to do the things that I would have in the past enjoyed (due to Depression) and have no friends or social life at all. I joined to hopefully be able to talk to others.
Thanks 🙂

Hi Himi and a huge welcome to you!
Wow, I believe you have hit the nail on the head. Personally, I found depression to be a kind of limbo in a way. It's sort of like when we get stuck between the self we were and the self we want to be. Some journeys are long and some are brief yet all are painful at times when it comes to depression. Mine was a longish journey of about 15 years. I am here to tell you that support and freedom are possible when you find the right guides to light the way ahead. The amazing, soulful beautiful people on the BB forums are here for you on your journey.
Take care and I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Himi, welcome to the forums and thanks for contacting.
It's not easy to accept the fact that we may have some form of mental illness and to post a comment on a site where you don't know anyone may seem to be difficult, but the best part is that we have been through and/or maybe still struggling with this problem now.
I am terribly sorry to hear what you have been diagnosed with because I too have had anxiety, depression and OCD, and still have OCD and had it for a long time.
There are also different aged people on this site, some with 'Working with Children (WWC) as I have, but all of us have had our own experience.
You can browse through the different sections if you click on 'All Posts'.
