Hi. I'm so tired. I need to speak with someone but am feeling too raw to speak over the phone so thought I'd give this mode of communication a go. Hoping that reading some other people's journey with depression and chronic pain might lighten the load tonight. Blessings to you all.

Dear Tired24~

I'd like to welcome you here, as you can see from reading it is a pretty gently place with others here who have felt as you do and so understand.

It's actually a pretty good way to communicate as you can take your time, there is no pressure of anyone waiting on the other end of the phone. You can think what you want to say and find ways to put it down without embarrassment or fear of being judged.

I've PTSD, anxiety, bouts of depression and a spinal condition that gives me a fair amount of grief, so I guess I can probably understand a bit of what you have to deal with. When symptoms are up it is pretty exhausting too.

So if you would like to speak this way I'd think it would work and give you an avenue to talk and listen.

In order to relate and talk on the same wavelength it wold be realy helpful if you could say more about yourself, if you are under treatment, about our life and if you have anyone to support or help you.

I'd realy wish that you could feel welcome and comfortable enough to return

Hi Tired 24 and a warm welcome to the BB forums,

I live with PTSD, Anxiety and Depression, I have no experience with chronic pain, but I do understand that it would be quite debilitating and difficult to deal with.

These forums are a safe place to express yourself and ask questions. Sometimes you can find some answers by browsing through the threads (stories) under the various forum titles.

Most importantly, you have plenty of time to think about what you want to write, which is actually quite restful, and makes you examine your feelings and what you want to say - I have found this most helpful.

I would love to hear more of your story, and how you’re going, if you wish to share, cheers M 🙂
