Hi I was diagnosed with early onset dementia about 2 years ago and I would like to be able to chat with others who have this condition. I'm hoping this will help me with my depression and share experiences and not feel so alone.

Dear Jasmin~
I'd like to give you a warm welcome here and hope you find others to talk with here. You are definitely not alone having this and it does tend to make you feel as if there is a barrier between you and others.
My wife (who has now passed away) had dementia at a very much earlier age than one would expect together with serious medical problems. I was with her right though which was for a long time. The thing I wanted to tell you was that she was the same person I loved all the way though. Her nature did not change (apart from understandable frustrations at times and getting sad or angry as a result) and it was a matter of memory lapses and becoming less able.
She did have treatment, both medications, physical and mental exercises to slow the condition's progress and they seemed to help
I was able to support her every day and my love for her did not diminish. Would you like to say if you have anyone to support you? That can make up for a lot.
Incidentally you you have not already done so then I suggest you visit

They have both advice 24/7 and information they you might be useful
You know you will always be welcome here
