Anxiety at new job

Hi, I’m Josh and I have had a career change at 53. I’m working in a smart centre and struggling mental with the culture of the place. I’m coming up to 6 mths and are really struggling with negative thoughts and things that’s are really happening. I started crying at work and when home. I’m scared

Hi Josh, I’m sorry to hear what you are going through right now. I’m no expert but I would strongly recommend seeking help. See you GP  who would be best positioned to provide guidance on help you need. It can be daunting but will be the best for you in the long term

Sorry to hear about your mental health struggles but good to hear you are seeking professional help.

 

Changing careers at any age can be daunting and especially if you are over 50, it's very natural to have self-doubts but please don't allow fear and negative emotions to discourage you. 

 

The best part is that you would have gathered immense experience and expertise over the years which is an added advantage and you can use this to mentor younger generations.
