An unhappy existence

Hi

I am a man of senior years and for most of my life have felt out of place and treated like an idiot.

I have always supported others through out their ups and downs but people see me

as not needing  support.

I have health issues I am dealing with and have no family support network.

I am  now having to focus on

my own emotional well-being

because of the way I am feeling about life in general.

This must be very hard on you. You deserve to be treated as well as you treat them! If they can't notice that, maybe let them know if you need help. I know it can be hard but if you're helping people out but they don't help you, you should ask for help if you need it.

Hello Dear nag07,

A warm welcome to the forums…

I can relate to your words so much…I am an elderly widow (now with health issues)  and have also felt out of place with this world,, not just now but for most of life….Caring for, supporting, and putting everyone’s else’s needs and wants before mine…I live with my 2 dogs, my children live far away and have their own families and I suppose lives of their own to get on with…my support network is non existent except for here on these forums…so please do pop back in when you feel up to it and we will try to support you the best we can…

Dear sir, well done focusing on your emotional well being…that’s sometimes hard to do when you are used to being there and supporting others….nag07 all  that care and compassion that you gave to others, please try hard to now give it to you, you deserve it so much….

Please talk here anytime you feel up to it, we will try to support you the best we can..

My kindest thoughts and care dear nag07,

Grandy..
