Hi rat17,
I am sorry but I do not understand what it is concerning you. Are you able to say more clearly what it is about the psychologist that annoys you?
I have PTSD and anxiety and know from my experience with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) that it is the client that usually sets the agenda for the visit. Normally on the way to the session I am thinking about how I am tracking and normally the therapist will open up with something like, "How have you been?", so I normally talk about whatever is at the top of my list.
I would like to be supportive so hope you can say more, or maybe call the 1300 number?
Kind regards, John.
