My son is about to turn 20, he doesnt smile any more, has pushed his mates away and alienated his family. He just quit his job. Sleeps all day. Drinks and smokes when he is awake. He is angry at the world. He used to see a psychologists when he was in primary school, we have always had behavioural issues growing up. I think he needs medication now as he is a harm to others and possibly himself

Hi, welcome
Sorry to hear that.
You single biggest challenge is to get him to a GP. I'd attend your GP first to talk about the problem as a pre warning that you hope to get him to that Dr as soon as you can, which could take some time.
You might have to wait for the opportune moment, to approach your son, that moment he is sad and reflective.
As a last resort you could get a Dr to pay a house visit?
We often talk about some that are stubborn in getting help particularly men. I wish you all the best.
