Recently I have been self harming. Im not sure if I'm allowed to say how though. Should I tell my doctor? And if I do , how do I tell her? She is quite approachable and lovely. The idea of telling her that I S/H, fills me with so much anxiety! How do I blurt that out? What would she do? I already am booked for 6 psychologist appointments and I have written it down as one of my reasons for attending. Any advice please?
Thanks very much.

Good for you, Atleast writing it down you won’t forget something when your sitting there opposite you GP.
I hope you have a easy time with the appointment.
My grief/guilt for him is still so raw. Apart from my chronic pain he is why I started S H , it serves me right .

Thanks LJ, what set me off on the weekend was when I told my grandson ( who was 3 when his bubby brother died) I always tell my grandsons I love them so much. They normally say I love you millions and millions, but this time he said I love you to Wilby and back, I rubbed his head and said that is just beautiful darlin. . I broke down and cried for ages , the he got upset , I said it’s ok darling ganma is crying happy tears. He couldn’t say William so called him Wilby and we all call him that. Just so heartbreaking

Hi went well. My gp asked how I was I said not good. She asked what's wrong. I couldn't speak,so I gave her my letter. She read it. I couldnt tell what she was thinking. Probably surprised and concerned.
She asked me a few questions. Told me not to do it again. Asked if she could see the spot. I showed her.
Also she has put me on medication. Not sure I'm allowed to say that.
This afternoon is my 1st psychologist appointment and I am so anxious and been getting chest pain .
