Hi, welcome
Gee, how terrible that must make you feel.
I'm quite certain that those friends that are verbally abusive are not friends to you at all, yet, being the kind person you are - you treat them as friends. There is a huge number of people that treat others badly, even if you have to drop those people out of your life, you have to protect yourself. Eventually you will be surrounded only with kind people that reach out to help you, and you help them- they are real friends and you dont need many up to 6 people.
I've struggled with my weight all my life. I'm 70yo and still have weight issues. But, I decided many years ago that I am limited as to how much I can effectively reduce weight. That resulted in me deciding that my best efforts are good enough and if I hurt myself too much like reminding myself how overweight I am, then I'm not helping my well being.
Is there any mental health concerns that you'd like to discuss here? Just reply and we can chat about them
