I'm tired. I'm so very tired of the walls all closing in on me. I put myself in these situations, then I just can't handle the consequences of not being able to keep up.

Hi, welcome
Vent? no problem. Us champions here and members dont mind and we often come here to read your venting and try to assist, so you are under no obligation to answer.
I dont recall you so if I repeat I'm sorry. I have bipolar which of course has depression and mania, well held now with meds. But there were numerous times over the past 40 years that I've struggled with my mental health.
I realised I have one thing that has been crucial to my survival, that one thing I learned at 26yo now 70yo. That was the ability to look at things in a positive way and that ability can even take place when I'm depressed. It takes no effort to think positive on most topics. Eg
I wrote a article while in depression its called "the timing of motivation". It was written because in the past I couldnt motivate myself when depressed. With my positive idea I came up with the timing of my motivation.-

This delay of motivating myself until I'm feeling well enough to spring into life again has helped me and others accept that its ok to be down and remain there until you wake up one day and feel better before you implement your motivating ideas.
What do you think?
