I feel like I’ve been running around in circles. I’ve suffered with SH for around 3 years. I’ve been in and out of depressive episodes. And my anxiety is always eating away at me. And sometimes I feel like it’s just pointless for me to be here? As if I don’t really serve a purpose ? I keep losing people I love, and I end up giving up on making those connections because everyone always leaves. But I’m a student, and I work a couple jobs. I don’t plan on doing anything it just gets mentally heavy ?

Dear M
We are so glad that you have made you way here and had the bravery to post and will be reaching out to you privately to offer you some additional support this evening.
M we wonder if you have you spoken with your GP about how you have been feeling? or are you engaged in any therapy at the moment? We always encourage to speak with your GP as a first step as it can feel lonely at times going through this but please know that you are not alone on this journey to better mental health.
In the meantime, we would love for you to give one of our fully trained counsellors a call for some counselling support, we are here 24/7 on 1300 22 4636 or via our WebChat. In addition, our lovely friends at Lifeline (13 11 14) and the Suicide Call Back Service (1300 659 467) are always there for you whenever things are feeling like too much to cope with.
Please keep safe M, we will leave you in the hands of our lovely community members who will be here on your thread soon. Thanks again for sharing. It’s a powerful and brave first step towards feeling better.
Regards
Sophie M
