On the brink

Have had an extremely hard time of late. Messed up bad this weekend was caught again drink driving. I know I have an issue with drink. But that's not the worst of it. My MDD is out of control. Double medicating to cope have Formication, extremely irritable and highly emotional to the point of being on the verge of tears constantly. Can't deal with anything at the moment and just want to disappear. EVERY time I think I'm getting on my feet I implode my life. Sitting here tonight sweating, highly emotional and entire right side tingling making me more and more anxious. Not sleeping and can't cope with anyone else's problems. Just don't know what to do anymore.

Hi, welcome

I agree with Sophie, professional help is needed here.

In the case of being caught with drink driving, take this opportunity to turn over a new leaf, you can do it.

You dont need drink. An old man once told me 35 years ago in relation to smoking "you dont need that cigarette". It was the trigger to giving up. I think you can give it away now and every month without it will be another month you can claim to the magistrate that you have changed.

Ignore everyone elses issues atm. You cannot cope so dont try to solve them.

It isnt the conviction of drink driving that is important right now, thats done, its the resurrection of your life so others you love will admire you. That will define you.
