hello and welcome.
seems to be a lot going on in your life at the moment - you did not write much, but you did not have to. Can I ask whether you are able to or getting professional help? Do you have any friends you can talk to as well?
If not you might be able to get some assistance from QLife (https://qlife.org.au/) who also have a 1800 number. The also recommend SUICIDE CALLBACK SERVICE if you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm - 1300 659 467
If you want to chat some more, I am listening.
You are worth it.

Hello, and what you have told us must be affecting you in many different ways, which we are so sorry for, but as you have opened a thread, we encourage you to talk about what you feel comfortable with.
There is no criticism made on this site because if this did happen, then there wouldn't be a forum where people can discuss their own issues, it's a site where all of us have been through our own type of depression and only want to help those who are having similar problems, so please don't be afraid.
Geoff.

Firstly, welcome to the forums we are so glad that you found your way to this supportive and welcoming community. We hope that you find ideas, options and support from the shared experiences and knowledge of all our members.
We can hear from your post that you have been managing your thoughts of self-harm and we are so pleased you have reached out to the community for support. The link and recommendation to Qlife by smallwolf is excellent advice and we would also like to encourage you to engage with this service.
We would love for you to give Beyond Blue a call, it can really help having someone to talk to when these negative thoughts arise. By engaging via phone or chat the counsellors can provide advice and support, please contact either via phone 1300 22 4636 or web chat: http://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/get-immediate-support
Alternatively we would also recommend the suicide call back service, they offer a range of contact methods that can be accessed via https://www.suicidecallbackservice.org.au/phone-and-online-counselling/ or by giving them a call on 1300 659 467.
If at any point those thoughts of self-harming become overwhelming, or you no longer feel safe we urge you to contact emergency services on 000.
We hope that you find the support and direction that you are seeking on the forums. Once again, we are so glad you have joined the forums and we hope that you feel welcomed into the community.
Warm regards, Sophie M

Hey Hmm_name,
This is my first post, so I hope I don't say anything wrong. I guess I just wanted to respond because I can heavily relate. I also struggle with autism, depression and PTSD and honestly lately it's been tough especially since some of my s/h thoughts have become more intense. But (and this is coming from some personal experience and I'm sorry if it's the wrong thing to say) I feel like sometimes we need to view the fact that we are still here and the fact that we are continuing on as an achievement even if it can be a bit messy.
