I can't see any future anymore

The world has gone completely to hell. I haven't seen anyone in months. I'm in Melbourne and there's no future here. There can't be when 90% of people who have symptoms of coronavirus just go out anyway. What on earth is the point, I'm never going to be able to see anyone again.

Why even try? This is just going to go on forever and it's pretty obvious there are wars coming after this, then climate change. I'm so angry and sad and lonely and I just want it to stop.

I don't have the means to kill myself so I'm not going to do it, but it still seems like the only option to escape this nightmare.

Hi honey 16921,

I know things seem daunting and unfair and the future is unknown but I don't think this will last forever.

There's been a massive increase in numbers but your state is taking precautions to slow down the spread.

It's not an ideal scenario but staying at home will help.

Can you video chat with your family/ friends?
What are your living arrangements like, do you live alone or with others?

It's a very confusing time and I think with this drastic action things will start to improve again.

Hang in there.
