The world has gone completely to hell. I haven't seen anyone in months. I'm in Melbourne and there's no future here. There can't be when 90% of people who have symptoms of coronavirus just go out anyway. What on earth is the point, I'm never going to be able to see anyone again.
Why even try? This is just going to go on forever and it's pretty obvious there are wars coming after this, then climate change. I'm so angry and sad and lonely and I just want it to stop.
I don't have the means to kill myself so I'm not going to do it, but it still seems like the only option to escape this nightmare.

Hey honey16921, thanks for joining us here on the Beyond Blue forums. We're so sorry to hear how hopeless you feel and we recognise how uncertain things seem at the moment. We can imagine it would feel so lonely to have not had contact with anyone for months but please know that you've come to a safe, non-judgemental space to talk about your thoughts and feelings, and our wonderful community is here to provide you with as much support, advice and conversation as you need.
Our Support Service is trying to reach out to you via email as we are worried about you.
We hope you know that there is always help available to you. Can we ask if you are you currently receiving mental health support? If not, we would urge that you do seek professional support to help you work through these thoughts that you're experiencing. If you are not sure of how to access mental health support, please contact the Beyond Blue Support Service anytime on 1300 22 4636 or get in touch with us on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST here: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport
We would strongly urge that in overwhelming moments you get in touch with our friends at Lifeline (13 11 14) or the Suicide Call Back Service (1300 659 467).
We'd also recommend reaching out to our Coronavirus Mental Wellbeing Support Service. The website will be regularly updated with information, advice and strategies to help you manage your wellbeing and mental health during this time.
We hope that you keep checking in to let us know how you're going, whenever you feel up to it.

Hi honey 16921,
I know things seem daunting and unfair and the future is unknown but I don't think this will last forever.
There's been a massive increase in numbers but your state is taking precautions to slow down the spread.
It's not an ideal scenario but staying at home will help.
Can you video chat with your family/ friends?
What are your living arrangements like, do you live alone or with others?
It's a very confusing time and I think with this drastic action things will start to improve again.
Hang in there.
