Hey Everyone and New Posters too!
I have had Depression and GAD since 1983. I am fortunate to have a crackerjack GP and Psychologist to help me help myself. I live opposite a nature reserve and noticed the local council guys doing major pruning of non indigenous plants/trees with chainsaws and shovels..Even though they get paid for it I went across with Ice Cold bottled water and Pepsi Max cans in a bucket of ice just to thank them for their hard work and caring for this beautiful reserve. I met two new wonderful people that were actually fully qualified Horticulturalists.. They were over the moon with ice cold drinks :-).My depression vaporised after I thanked them and walked away. I was just thinking if anyone else has done a good deed to a person and felt really good about doing so?
Kind Thoughts

Hi Carol. My friend is having a colonoscopy. I'm hopeful they find what's causing him distress. He's been complaining of severe stomach pains for months. He's had tests galore and they found - nothing. It would be good if they do find something that would explain what's causing the pain.

Oh Lynda, I understand completely.
Having been in those shoes with test after test coming up normal it can be very frustrating and worrying. I hope they work it out soon.

Thanks guys means a lot knowing you care, even though you don't know him. I'm battling problems too at the moment. Breast ultra-sound done recently has shown something. I have to have a biopsy next week. Had a lump removed 3 years ago.

Thanks Paul, as soon as I know the results, you'll know. I don't know about being strong, at times like this, I think my strength comes from here. The people on these forums gives everybody strength. To know we're not alone, that's something to keep hold of.

Lynda. The most likely scenario is that its a benign lump. Lets hope that's the case. I'll certainly be thinking of you during the waiting time, which is always the hardest. Its normal to feel scared, as we always automatically think the worst. But at least you remain optimistic, and that will carry you through. (-:

Hi Sherie. Thanks for your support too. It doesn't appear to be a lump, the specialist didn't actually say it was a lump. He just said he wanted to do a biopsy, he said he wasn't sure what it was. It appears to be just under the nipple, he did examine me, but said the biopsy would show more. Here's hoping it's nothing.
