After nearly 20 years of excess sweating, mainly on my head, I have come across a practitioner who has told me that I don't have enough salt in my body to retain fluid.  Sounds like it's making sense I think. She recommends that I soak my feet nightly in hot water which contains both 1 teaspoon of ground Pink Himalayan Salt and 1 tablespoon of Epson Salts. I can't believe how effective it has been in radically reducing the sweating. Please give it a try, hope it works for you 😀

Hey Somehow,

Thank you for sharing this with us, it's lovely to have you on the forums. It's great to hear that you're feeling better and that this method has worked well for you.

I would just like to say, in the context of self-care and preserving one's energy in particular, a nice bath or hot shower can be quite relaxing/therapeutic.

Stay well and take care.

Hello Somehow, sometimes you can find a practioner who deals in natural therapy, I used to have a doctor until he moved away.

Good luck.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing, I am glad this helped you! Naturopaths and functional medicine doctors are sometimes great to look outside the box and realm of modern medicine.

I hope you continue to feel better.
