While I don't like doing things because I have to, because I'd rather do things I know are what I need, & by definition, are 'self-care', but today...
I went to the GP. Now I'm going to takes new meds!
Had another dose of vax. (4th)
Then walked with my helper to the chemist.... not taking the car for that walk surely is better for my health.
In the course of doing these things, I got out of my flat for several hours Lunch, too. 😺

Got some photos printed.
Visited family.

oh, but the day wasn't over...
Later, I had to decide to call an ambulance because the new med didn't agree with me - really bad. Didn't want to be going into Emergency again, (even for a different reason), but, figurativelym put my foot down, & made the call.
As it turned out I began to feel better an hour later & called back to cancel.
Then I could sleep (2an
This morniing I phoned my GP & actually got an appointment. I went walking up the road myself. (No helper today), in some pain, stopping to rest every 15-20 paces. Got there!
Afterwards, I decided to do some more walking down to the chemist & give that med back! (Why can't I get my money back after only using it once? It's not my fault I had an adverse reaction.)
Now I'm sore from #4! Taking it easy... eating nice vegies & meat (a tad low in iron) This is all good things to care for me. 😼 I hope.

Relaxing warm shower.
Washed my hair.
Wore my most comfortable shoes

1) Made myself a cup of tea, sat on the couch and watched some Netflix - that was very relaxing and nice self-care
2) Meeting friends for dinner, a great way for behavioural activation!
3) Will play video games with my partner it is so nice we can spend time together that makes me feel better
