We can do it BBers, we can do self-care.
Sleepy21 pointed out research that shows self-care REALLY helps!
Please share what you do for self-care so we can get inspiration, ideas and motivation to do it too.
Best wishes
EM

It does l'oiseau! Little bird? Cute name and a belated Welcome to the Forums. Thankyou for joining in on our Self-care thread!
Yes missep, AWESOME work everyone. High five little lady!
Today my self-care will be:
~ going to the Dentist. P.son needs some work too, so we're both going.
~ coming on to the Forums and keeping to the positive threads 🙂
~ if I'm well enough after the dentist, I'll get back into my garden of course! If I'm not, I'll have a nap.
Perhaps I'll do BOTH, IDK.
Have a great day everyone!
Love EMxxxx

Hey b_nderz, welcome to the forums.
I think that's part of why these forums exist, so we can share any issues we face and express ourselves. Hopefully finding some healing in doing so.
Self-care is part of that healing process.
My self-care recently:
~ eating well
~ Sleeping!
~ enjoying time in my garden.
Love EMxxxx

Hey all,
welcome to new posters, and I hope you feel comfortable to open up and share where you’re at. Even tho this thread has the positive focus of self care, we all know that some days are wirad than others, so just popping on and saying hi can be great self care.
I was feeling down today, so I gathered my courage and rang a friend, which cheered me up a lot.
My daughter and I are feeling disappointed about not being able to go camping, cos the LGA went into lockdown (Nsw) so we’re going to treat ourselves to a massage tmw. My fave self care!
made 3 different salads to have for dinner tonite- super yum! Also asked for help cooking, cos I needed it. That’s a good self care trick for me, as I find it hard to ask for help.
Good job everyone, keep it coming!
cheers,
J*

I self cared today by noting i arose tired, then I still did a few things, then went back to bed for sleep for 3 hours.
I self cared today by putting on socks and uggboots before heading out back.
I self cared today by not pulling in front of the hasty driver around a round about.

My self-care today:
1) Ate pizza! I haven't had it in a while so that made me happy.
2) Watched an episode of a Korean drama.
3) I will make sure to disconnect from studying today to make sure I relax and play my game on the Switch
