Yes Blue it WAS nice having banana bread at work, it was REALLY yummy!

My self-care lol... I spend so much time looking after others.... ummm

1. I bought ingredients for a yummy dinner on the way home from work

2. I'll choose a nice outfit to wear tomorrow because our boss asked us to dress up for some type of photo shoot...might even match my jewellery, now that's special! lol.

3. I phoned a friend today.

Hi sleepy21, EM, and all.

not a self care list, just a comment.

i really like reading the self care lists that everyone puts on. It makes me a little less sad reading them, and gives me ideas on how i can take care of myself better, especially at the moment.

I started this thread because I really struggle with self-care too. Like really struggle.

My self-care for today is:

* seeing a Specialist in less than an hour so I better be quick! This was delayed 6 months due to Covid and 2y due to Courts so I'm nervous tbh.. but it means a hospital thang...

* seeing a Dr this afternoon for other clear issue - I know what they'll do next here

* family coming over for dinner tonight lol... not much physical "self-care" there lol... but alot of emotional self-care for sure.
