Hi Everyone
If you have any good news in your life or seen any good news in the media please let us know in a brief post 😊
Note: I understand and respect this thread topic is not for everyone as any level of anxious/depressive feelings are awful to experience
Just for myself I have a couple of positives
- Peta Credlin on Sky News gave Beyond Blue a huge mention earlier this week
- My mum is still independent and doing well at 90 years of age and her lung function test is 'Normal' and still a smoker! Love you mum x
any good news is welcome...and thankyou everyone for being a part of the Beyond Blue forums too!
my kindest always...Paul

Hey Paul, you're very sweet and far too kind! Thankyou 🤗.
GOOD NEWS:
- my Victorian BB friends are too busy SHOPPING and driving their whole 25klm limit to BE on the forums lol and I'm very glad for that... LIVE - IT - UP gorgeous people.
- my son who left home is coming home AGAIN this weekend, omg so happy, miss him to pieces.
- The rain has stopped after 5 whole days omg... love it but can be too much of a good thing.
- I'm feeling more like my normal, happy self than I have in YEARS... thankyou BB members.
Love your work Paul, you're a gem for sure.
Love EM

I stopped to pick up something at Bunnings enroute to psych. Didn't have much time but got what I needed instead of ordering & waiting 2 days to click & collect.
Son rang this afternoon to invite us for tea. nothing fancy but nice to visit. played UNO with one grandson & teased 1 yr old with his toys. He kept throwing them back at me so I'd keep going. He had a big smile.
My daughter is outside the limit so need to arrange to meet halfway at a park. & other son in regional Vic so off limits.
I'm glad we delayed opening up until we controlled these recent clusters. Better waiting a short while than going backwards & wasting everything we've gone without.

good news today: djab wurrung people of central victoria have stopped a highway extension in ararat and buangor on their land that would've saved two minutes for motorists and threatened some of their centuries old sacred birthing trees from continuing work for three weeks in a supreme court injunction. they lost their sacred directions tree on monday while news cycle was talking about melb lockdown lifting, hopefully this can stop further desecration

Dear eight, I'm very sorry we lost "our" sacred directions tree, it's devastating. I consider the first people's cultures our own since we inhabit the land. More power to justice in all cases.
monkey - you're awesome lol.
Good news!
* SUN today after days and days of rain lol... my nectarine tree is bursting!
* my son who moved a long way away, got a PT job! Well he's doing a trial today but he really needs the money so I hope he goes well and gets the job.

My good news is having a forum to connect with others, it is having people who really care even though they don’t know.
